“It is always fun to do something in the comedy genre”, said Aditi Bhatia from Sony SAB’s Apna News Aayega

Q. What made you choose ApnaNews Aayega?

The concept;it’s very different and then of course, Optimystix,Nikul Sir and the team are just great to work with. The project itself, Apna News Aayega, is a great one and it is always fun to do something in the comedy genre. 

Q. It has only been a day or two since you started shooting, yeah? How has the experience been?

It’s been amazing. We are shooting so fast and I’m so happy to work with Shruti Di and Rajesh Ji because I’ve seen them on TV and cut to now I’m working with them, so it’s like a dream come true. It’s fun because it is not at all hectic and since here’s Divyansh and so many characters. It is really interesting to play a 2 minute gag and have fun while doing it.

Q. How has your experience been with your co-stars?

It feels great working with such lovely people.Divyansh, I have worked with earlier, but apart from him, there’s so much to learn from everyone on set. It’s a great thing to be a part of this show.

Q. Any hilarious incident you encountered?

Yeah, basically the script was so funny that I actually started laughing in between a shot. So, people on set were like, “Hello, audience kohasnahai. Tumhenahi.” The entire day is so funny because we are always cracking jokes. So, there have been a lot of such incidents and there isn’t just one that I can think of.

Q. What according to you makes the show stand out? What can the audience expect from the show?

What makes Apna News Aayega stand out is that when we say comedy, there have been shows with particular characters or long acts. But this is a 2 minute gag, so you just laugh and move on to the next gag. Also, the concept of news and reporters is very exciting and that’s what got me attracted to the show as well.So yeah, this is what makes it attractive overall as a show. 

Q. What will the audience like in the show?

The audience will like me. And I think of course, the scripts that we take are from real incidents and it’s pretty interesting. The whole 2 minute thing is a lot of fun and something that makes the show interesting is that you get to see someone playing the real life characters in a different way.

Q. How has it been different- acting in daily soaps and doing comedy?

As I said, Comedy is always fun and I enjoy this genre. It really breaks me from my schedule with so much laughter is there. I daily soaps, I cry in the scenes and here I’m laughing. The best part is that as an actor, I get to switch from characters and that’s a very good thing. That’s how shifting from Daily soaps to this has been a great thing for me.

Q. Do you watch Sony SAB?

Yes, I do. I have been growing up watching the showTaarak Mehta kaOoltahChsahmah. I have watched it from the beginning. GuttarGu was my favorite too. I really like the fact that Sony SAB is a family channel and “SAB saathmeindekhtehain”. 

Q. Any message you’d like to give your fans?

I would just like to say, this a new venture for me, so please continue supporting me and showering your love like you all have always done. It’s a great show and I’m sure everyone is going to have loads of fun watching Apna News Aayega.
