In Bollywood, besides acting and singing, there is maximum craze for dancing. From different corners of the country, people flock to Mumbai to establish their own individual identity. Ujjwal Kumar who belongs to Koderma of Jharkhand is one such person who is crazy about dancing and is slowly and steadily inching his way towards becoming a choreographer. Though he is only 23 years old, he has earned a lot of kudos for his work and has mesmerized the audiences with his versatility.
Ujjwal’s work started when he came to Mumbai to become a choreographer in 2014. He started his struggle from Dadar and came to Andheri and felt that he needed to practice dancing a lot to hone his talent and polish his craft. Ujjwal learnt dancing from several dance classes. Though he was getting money regularly from home, eventually Ujjwal had to take up a job to support himself. He worked in a studio for three months where he could earn a salary fo three thousand every month. After a lot of struggles, he learnt dancing and is actually teaching dancing.
According to Ujjwal, it took him three years to learn dancing and now he is teaching dance to around 300 students. “Right from my childhood, I was very fond of dancing and wanted to become a choreographer. I used to dance on then staged during childhood. In my home town I learnt the basics of dancing and in Mumbai, I had my advanced training in dancing and today I have my own dance classes.”
Ujjwal has choreographed and downloaded several videos on you tube and is now all set to come up with as music video for T Series. Ujjwal had also choreographed two songs for a film called Auto Romance in Mumbai and is now choreographing two music videos for Fimi Productions.
