Social media has always been game for challenges, from the viral Kiki Challenge to the What The Fluff Challenge, these challenges have spruced up and spread like wildfire. Social media users from all around the globe join in to perform certain situations, dances, voices or even speeches for entertainment. The latest challenge that has gone viral is the Bottle Cap Challenge. While social media is flooded with people taking up this challenge, it requires much agility and skill. Started by the mixed martial arts art fraternity, the challenge requires you to kick the cap off a bottle with a spinning kick and leaving it twirling perfectly in place. The challenge is not just an urban-metro city phenomenon but even people from the remotest corner of the country are joining the challenge on ShareChat, a local language social networking application. Within a few days, ShareChat received over 1900 videos of the challenge with over 1,90,000 engagements with the hashtag #BottleOpenChallenge. The maximum content is coming in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Punjabi Even some of the regional celebrities have joined the bandwagon and are posting videos. Some of the celebrities include – Kannada actor, Allu Raghu, child artist, Yodha and popular TV actress Aishwarya Pisse.
