Silsila Badalte Rishto Ka Season 2 on VOOT grabbed headlines for its unconventional storyline and affable characters. A show, that started out with the love story of Mauli (played by Aditi Sharma), Nandini (played by Dhrashti Dhami) and Kunal (played by Shakti Arora) branched out into season 2 after generation leap and featured television’s heartthrob Kunal Jaisingh as Ruhaan, the talented Tejasswi Prakash as Mishti and the effervescent Aneri Vajan as Pari. Garnering 300 million views through its second season, SILSILA became a fan favorite in a short while, highlighting many complexities of relationships and how Mishti, Pari, and Kunal get entangled in it.
As the show culminates, Mishti is seen fighting for her life and is detected with a life-threatening disease. This will leave everyone in a state of shock further building up the drama. Speaking about the show’s closure, Kunal Jaisingh said, “I am feeling mixed emotions right now as I am happy that the fans showered us with so much love and I am equally sad as the show is coming to an end. It has been an incredible journey and I want to thank each and every one who made it such a huge success.”
Tejasswi added, “It’s been a pleasure to be a part of VOOT’s SILSILA , knowing and understanding Mishti, to essay different shades of love, friendship, and sisterhood. The character was wonderfully written and I am grateful that I could get the audience to love her and accept her.”
Aneri Vajani said, “Not every-day you get to portray a role so relatable and real. Pari goes through a myriad of emotions; acceptance, love, and siblinghood, to finally find her own self. I consider myself fortunate to have received a chance to bring it alive on screen. I am going to miss everyone.”
The finale episode of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka - Season 2 will go live on Thursday,18th July 2019.
