In his critically acclaimed black mass, Johnny Depp
criticized him when he not only looked but sounded like
another man. Inspired by his preparation to the film,
Vivek Oberoi here in his home tower takes the same path
and enrolls in the voices and modulation courses as
homework for RAI, his upcoming gangster drama.
In Rai, the actor who essays Muthoppa Rai's titular role
is undergoing not only a monitored physical conversion,
but also will train him to sound like a gangster turned
businessman in speech modulation.
"With all this fitness and a disciplined diet he also
trains in voice modulation and accents as Rai is known
for his infamous intimidating South Indian accent." This
is an area and genre that people like to see Vivek in the
world and it is all going to be under his skin.
Oberoi quote from Vivek: "I need to undergo a complete
transformation in the way of the role; you need to look
like a personality in a movie based on a real person. So
individuals can relate to you. I don't promote people to
lose weight and gain weight, but I do it because the
character demands it.
