What happens when two people, who happen to be the master in their fields, come together for an event? While Mohit Jadhwani is one of the most sought after anchors in the country today, Bani J is a hugely popular VJ having hosted a number of shows on a popular youth channel. They came together for a recently held event called Bringing It Beyond organised by HDFC Ergo where the employees of the company were rewarded for their excellence and valuable service to the company.
The event continued for two days with a melange of celebrities from the Hindi film industry like Ali Asghar, Rekha Bhardwaj and DJ Aqeel making appearances and delivering memorable performances in front of the crowd.
For Mohit, the most memorable part was the one where VJ Bani was present.
About the same, he says, "Bani and I both belong to the world of anchoring and VJ-ing, so it was great to collaborate with her and bring our distinctive styles together for this event. Bani conducted a fun and fitness session on Day 2. I looked after the proceedings of Box League cricket match which was played between ten different teams consisting of employees from the company. The tournament was won by Team Smashers whom I was rooting for. Gaurav Sharma from the senior management was very supportive and was instrumental in making this event a huge success.”
The event was held in a 5-star hotel in Bangalore and was attended by a large crowd which, unsurprisingly, heaped praises on Mohit for his extraordinary comparing skills.
