Catch the Final Season of ‘The Affair’ with Dominic West and Maura Tierney

After a successful four season run, The Affair is set to come back with its fifth and last season. The drama series explores the emotional and psychological effects of an extramarital relationship, and unfolds separately from multiple perspectives, using the distinct memory biases of each character to tell the story. The last season will take place in two different time frame – a present-day storyline and the other decades later. Actors Dominic West (Noah Solloway), Maura Tierney (Henel Butler), Julia Goldani Telles (Whitney Solloway) and Jadon Sand (Trevor Solloway) will reprise their roles. Anna Paquin joins the cast as Joannie Lockhart, who returns to Montauk to find out the truth about her mother’s death.
Dominic West said, “What I think people will like seeing is the lighter side of the dark and serious themes that ‘The Affair’ has always addressed. It’s going to be a rather sad farewell.”
Julia Goldani Telles added, “The final season of the show is ‘The Affair’ at its best. The writers have found a really incredible way for all of these characters to go out in a way that feels very in the style of the show.”
The last season of 'The Affair', focuses on the redemption arc of the main character Noah Solloway in the aftermath of the big reveal about the other half of the titular affair, Alison. At the same time, a 10-year leap will see Alison's daughter Joanie return to Montauk to dig deeper into her mother's death. While Joanie is searching for answers regarding whether Alison's death was a suicide or murder, it is expected that she might find out more than she had bargained for!
