Thrilling Rides, Glittering Fireworks Display and Bollywood Music –served as a classic recipe for New Year event success

Mumbai, 3 January, 2020: As the clock struck 12 on 31st December 2019; Imagicaa, India’s largest themed entertainment destination welcomed the new decade and start of 2020 with DJ Notorious spearheading the dance and music celebration wave amidst a luminous fireworks and confetti blast extravaganza showcase that illuminated the beautiful night sky.

With rides open from 10 am till midnight and an eclectic food and beverage spread to complement, guests revelled in the festivities all through the day. The power-packed entertainment dosed evening was hosted by Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma fame and renowned anchor, Pritee Kathpal who engaged the crowd with her spontaneity, liveliness and exciting games. DJ Prateek kick-started the event belting out popular music numbers followed by live dance and acrobatic performances.

One of the main highlight remained the ever spectacular Grand Imagicaa Night Parade that injected the atmosphere with even more energy and vibrancy as Imagicaa’s friendly mascots waved, danced and got the crowd grooving.

The magical night culminated in welcoming the beginning of 2020 with the musically talented, DJ Notorious taking over and leading the NYE countdown with high octane Bollywood remix numbers, vigorous festive fervour and gusto. DJ Notorious’ playlist included his original remixed numbers like Aankh Maare, Zingaat, Ishq Tera Tadpaave that ensured the 10,000+ guest’s swayed musically as their energy skyrocketed as the music tempo rose.

Delighted at the turnout, DJ Notorious exulted, “So the new year event at Imagicaa was by far the biggest Bollywood new year event in India. The immense energy and enthusiasm of the 10000 plus crowd dancing away till the very end is what made me extremely happy.
